New Week, New Things To Do in Dublin 👀
Hey all,
We’re leaning heavily into culture this week — books, talks, festivals, and a few bits to get you outside as well.
There’s a nice mix here: big city-wide programmes like the Dublin Learning City Festival, smaller niche talks, and a few easy wins like markets and yoga by the sea.
If you’ve been saying you want to do “something different” — this is your week.
As always, pick one thing, send it to a mate, and actually go 🤝

Enjoying Her Enjoyment: Irish Women’s Cultural Lives in the 1950s
Location: Dublin City Library
Date & Time: Friday at 1
A really interesting deep dive into the cultural lives of Irish women in the 1950s — looking at how they engaged with art, literature, and everyday life at the time.
One of those talks that gives you a completely different lens on Irish history.
Sensoria Festival

A multi-disciplinary arts festival blending sound, visuals, and performance. Expect something a bit different here — more immersive than your typical event.
This is aimed at neurodivergent teens.

Rush Festival of Writing: Eamon Carr
Location: The Strand, Rush
Date & Time: Saturday at 3
Part of the Rush Festival of Writing, this session with Eamon Carr dives into storytelling, music, and writing.
Good option if you’re into creative work or just want something a bit more low-key outside the city centre.
If you enjoy Dublin Buzz and find these roundups useful, you can support the work over on Buy Me a Coffee.
It helps cover the time spent digging out events, keeping things up to date, and making sure the good stuff stays free and easy to find. No pressure at all, just a simple way to back the project if it’s been helpful to you.
Story Lab: Where Science Becomes a Tale
Location: Instituto Cervantes Dublin
Date & Time: Saturday at 10:30am
A really nice concept — blending science and storytelling into something interactive and engaging. Great for curious minds and anyone who likes learning without it feeling like a lecture.
Join a fun family morning where kids explore science through experiments, games and stories, with films and hands-on activities.
