Hi folks,
As the city gets colder, it also gets brighter – Dublin is aglow with festive sparkle this week! From the Winter Lights trail to beloved family traditions like the Moving Crib, there’s plenty to enjoy across the city.
Whether you're strolling under twinkling trees, singing carols in a historic church, or running with your Sunday crew for post-jog BMOs (trust us, you’ll find out), this week’s events bring a beautiful blend of tradition, light, and community.

🎄 Dublin Winter Lights
📍 Now until Dec 31 – Across Dublin City Centre
25 locations. One dazzling city. Explore Dublin’s buildings, bridges, and parks transformed by spectacular projections, installations, and interactive fun. Highlights include Dublin Castle, Merrion Square Park, Wolfe Tone Square and more.

✨ The Moving Crib
📍 St Martin Apostolate, Nov 27 – Jan 4
Back for its 69th year (!), this free Christmas tradition combines nostalgia and magic. Walk through beautifully animated nativity scenes and don’t miss the Bray Gospel Choir on Dec 7. Donations welcome to help keep this gem alive.

🎶 Christmas Carol Service by Hope Centre
📍 Old St Mary’s Church, Crumlin – Sun Dec 21, 4–5:30pm
Join the Hope Centre for an uplifting mix of classic and modern carols in a historic setting. Includes festive refreshments.

🏃 BMO Collective – Sunday Run Club
📍 St Clare’s Park – Every Sunday, 10am
All levels welcome at this community run. Meet new people, enjoy a scenic route, and wind down with coffee and the famous BMOs (you’ll see).

📍 The Stag’s Head – Every Sunday & Monday
Legendary free stand-up show with top Irish & international comedians. Doors at 8:15pm, laughs at 9pm, and yes – free ice cream.
